This form is to be used in conjunction with documents being collected as part of the Northern Colorado Regional Housing Coalition, “NoCo Housing Now,” an ad hoc group of real estate and housing professionals, policy makers, local governments, and related stakeholders.
Documents should reflect current knowledge, relevant research, and best practices concerning housing affordability, defined as the ability for wage earners at all levels to afford housing without spending a disproportional percentage of their overall income. While lower-income affordable housing is an emphasis, the effort includes all ranges of choice and need, including issues related to work-force, attainable, market-rate, resort, and sharing economy/short-term housing.
Types of documents can include regional studies, local statistics, yearly activity reports, market analysis, comprehensive plans, and scholarly research. The emphasis is on Northern Colorado-specific information, not on the broad academic field of housing, or national housing data.
